Privacy policy

This policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit or buy from blankstory.co. We collect what we need to send you a mask and answer your email.

Who we are

The site is operated by Blank Story, a brand of Peaceful Chaos, registered in Cambodia, at 157 West Riverside Street, Krong Siem Reap. For anything in this policy, write to hello@blankstory.co.

Information we collect

Device information

When you visit the site we automatically receive limited technical information: your browser, IP address, time zone, the pages you view and the site or search term that sent you here. This is standard server and analytics data and we refer to it as device information.

Order information

When you place or attempt to place an order we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address and phone number. You pay by KHQR in your own bank app. We see the payment confirmation, never your bank login or card details.

Correspondence

If you email us, press Notify me on a mask, or apply for a trade account, we keep your name, your email address and the shop name where relevant.

How we use it

To fulfil orders, arrange shipping, and send confirmations and invoices.
To talk to you about your order.
To screen orders for fraud.
To email you when a mask you asked about is in stock, and only then.
To understand in aggregate how the site is used so we can improve it.

We share personal information only with the service providers who make the shop work. These are our website host and form service (Netlify), the bank that processes your KHQR payment, and the courier or rider who delivers your order. Each processes it only to perform that service.

We do not sell personal information, we do not trade mailing lists, and we do not run behavioural advertising. There is no advertising pixel on this site.

We may disclose information where we are legally required to, for example to comply with a lawful request from an authority, or to protect our rights.

International transfers

We are based in Cambodia. Our website host and form service are in the United States, so what you send through the site is processed there.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Write to hello@blankstory.co and we will do it. If you are in the EU or the UK you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable format, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.

Retention

Order information is kept for as long as we are required to keep it for accounting and tax purposes in Cambodia. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Correspondence is kept while it is useful and deleted on request.

Cookies

We use only what is necessary to run the site and, where enabled, basic aggregate analytics. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Most browsers let you refuse cookies; the site will still work.

Children

The product is made for children to paint, but the site is not aimed at them and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in how we work or in the law. The date below tells you when it last moved.

Last updated September 2026. Blank Story is a brand of Peaceful Chaos, registered in Cambodia.
