This policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit or buy from blankstory.co. The short version: we collect what we need to send you a mask and answer your email, and nothing else.
The site is operated by Blank Story, a brand of Peaceful Chaos, registered in Cambodia, at 157 West Riverside Street, Krong Siem Reap. For anything in this policy, write to hello@blankstory.co.
When you visit the site we automatically receive limited technical information: your browser, IP address, time zone, the pages you view and the site or search term that sent you here. This is standard server and analytics data and we refer to it as device information.
When you place or attempt to place an order we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number and payment details. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our systems.
If you email us, ask to be told when a mask ships, or apply for a trade account, we keep your name, your email address and the shop name where relevant.
We share personal information only with the service providers who make the shop function: our e-commerce and hosting platform, our payment processor, and the carriers who deliver your parcel. Each processes it only to perform that service.
We do not sell personal information, we do not trade mailing lists, and we do not run behavioural advertising. There is no advertising pixel on this site.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to, for example to comply with a lawful request from an authority, or to protect our rights.
We are based in Cambodia and our service providers may be located elsewhere, including the European Union and the United States. If you are in the EU or the UK, that means your information is transferred outside your jurisdiction. We rely on standard contractual clauses or the provider’s own approved transfer mechanism where required.
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Write to hello@blankstory.co and we will action it, in practice the same day. If you are in the EU or the UK you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable format, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Order information is kept for as long as we are required to keep it for accounting and tax purposes in Cambodia. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Correspondence is kept while it is useful and deleted on request.
We use only what is necessary to run the site and, where enabled, basic aggregate analytics. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Most browsers let you refuse cookies; the site will still work.
The product is made for children to paint, but the site is not aimed at them and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in how we work or in the law. The date below tells you when it last moved.
